AI Control and Integrations
Connect a local AI client to inspect and edit madphase through MCP. The editor must stay open.
Enable AI control
Open Settings → Integrations and turn on AI control (MCP). Add a named client.
Choose permissions
Inspection is the default. Enable editing if the client should change the composition or use playback. Approve read and save folders separately.
Copy setup
Choose Add client and copy setup, then paste that configuration into your local AI client. No provider API key is required by madphase’s MCP server.
Use the connection
Keep madphase open, then ask the configured client to inspect the current project first. Confirm it can see the expected layers. With editing permission, ask for a small parameter change and check it in the Effect Panel before requesting larger compositions, playback, save or export actions.
Revoke access
Turn off AI control to stop access, or revoke an individual client. Review paired clients and recent operations in Integrations.
