Image
Place a still image as a transformable layer. Move, scale, rotate, anchor, and composite it with the same layer controls as effects.
Add Image
Open a project or create a blank one, then add the source layer. Choose Primitive → Media → Image in the effects picker, or search for Image with Cmd/Ctrl + F. Select the new layer in Layers to open its Effect Panel.
Choose an image
Paste or drop an image into the workspace, or choose it through Assets. Select its Image layer in Layers to reveal the media and transform controls.
Place and composite
Move the image with the canvas gizmo. Use Scale and Lock Aspect to fit it, Rotate to turn it, and Anchor to choose the pivot. Set blend mode and opacity in the Effect Panel footer.
Compare and finish
Toggle the layer eye to compare with the incoming composition. Use the Effect Panel footer for opacity and blend mode, or add a mask to limit the affected area. In Video or Live, use the function menu on a supported control to add keyframes or a driver.
