AI Media Overview

Generate images and video clips from prompts, then composite the results into a madphase project.

Choose a tool

Choose AI Image for one frame or AI Video for a generated timed clip. The generated result becomes media you can transform and composite; the model determines the available generation options.

Generate a still image from a prompt, store the result as an asset, and transform it like an Image layer.

AI Video

Generate a video clip from a prompt and place the result into the stack with video-layer timing controls.

Use it in the app

Open a project and find GenAI → Media in the effects picker. Choose the specific tool, then select its layer in Layers to open the Effect Panel. Related modes may share a mode dropdown at the top of that panel. The pages below explain source requirements, first adjustments and conditional controls for each tool.
