Mosaic & Tile

Break the image into tiles, mirrored fragments, kaleidoscopes, or mosaic cells.

Choose a tool

Choose Mosaic for grouted cells, Kaleidoscope for radial reflected wedges, or Mirror Tile for repeated reflections. Frame the source first so the repeated detail is intentional.

Mosaic

Tile the source into square, brick, hex, or diamond cells with sampled colour.

Kaleidoscope

Reflect and rotate image wedges around a centre point for symmetrical kaleidoscope patterns.

Mirror / Tile

Repeat the image through mirrored tiles so seams reflect instead of hard-wrapping.

Use it in the app

Open a project and find Texture & Pattern → Mosaic & Tile in the effects picker. Choose the specific tool, then select its layer in Layers to open the Effect Panel. Related modes may share a mode dropdown at the top of that panel. The pages below explain source requirements, first adjustments and conditional controls for each tool.
