Display
Emulate physical display hardware including CRT, NTSC, VHS, scanline, and LED/LCD rendering.
Choose a tool
Choose CRT for tube geometry and phosphor patterns, NTSC for composite-signal interference, VHS for tape damage, Scanlines for a simple line grid, or LED/LCD for an emitter structure. Match the pitch or spacing to the final output size.
In this section
CRT
Render CRT curvature, phosphor masks, convergence error, beam bloom, scanlines, and glass glare.
NTSC
Simulate composite-video bleed, dot crawl, chroma crosstalk, ringing, ghosting, and signal noise.
VHS
Add tape tracking errors, head-switch tearing, dropouts, chroma delay, wobble, and generation loss.
Display Scanlines
Overlay display scan bands for quick CRT, broadcast, and retro-monitor texture.
LED / LCD
Render flat-panel LED matrices or LCD RGB stripes with gaps, bloom, and backlight effects.
Use it in the app
Open a project and find Optics → Display in the effects picker. Choose the specific tool, then select its layer in Layers to open the Effect Panel. Related modes may share a mode dropdown at the top of that panel. The pages below explain source requirements, first adjustments and conditional controls for each tool.
