Animation Parameters
Set the length and timing of your animation in the canvas footer.
Duration
In Video or Live, click the duration control in the canvas footer to edit the project length. Enter the intended duration and check that your clips and animation regions fit inside it. Export stops at this length.
Frame rate
Open the frame controls in the canvas footer and set Frame rate. This determines the sampled frames per second. Higher rates give smoother motion and more frames to render; check the same rate in the animation export dialog.
Frame step
In the frame controls, set Frame step above 1 to hold each rendered frame for several output frames. Step 2 renders every other unique frame while retaining the output frame rate. Play a moving layer to judge the stepped motion.
Drop Last Frame
Enable Drop Last Frame in the frame controls for a seamless loop whose first and last poses match. It removes the duplicate endpoint. Play through the loop seam to check that the extra hold is gone.
Loop playback
Use the Loop button beside the timeline transport, then press Play to repeat the preview. Loop changes preview playback without changing the project duration.
Preview frame cache
Use the preview frame cache button in the canvas footer, then play the timeline to fill the cache. Repeated Video playback can reuse rendered frames. Longer or larger timelines use more memory, and live inputs bypass this cache.
