Key
Convert luminance or colour ranges into alpha so lower layers show through selected parts of the image.
Choose a tool
Use Luma Key to remove a brightness range or Color Key for a selected colour. Tune tolerance or threshold first, then softness and feather while judging transparency against a contrasting background.

Use it in the app
Open a project and find Select & Mask → Key in the effects picker. Choose the specific tool, then select its layer in Layers to open the Effect Panel. Related modes may share a mode dropdown at the top of that panel. The pages below explain source requirements, first adjustments and conditional controls for each tool.
