Pixel
Turn source detail into chunkier pixel-art, mosaic, low-bit, and block-sampled treatments.
Choose a tool
Choose Pixelate for block sampling, Pixel Art for a coarse palette-and-dither look, or 16-bit Grid for a quantized raised tile field. Inspect at full preview quality to judge the final grid.
In this section
Pixelate
Sample rectangular blocks into chunky pixels with independent width, height, and sampling modes.
Pixel Art
Reduce detail into crisp low-resolution pixel-art blocks while preserving a stylized source read.
16-bit Grid
Overlay stepped low-bit tiles, highlights, and grid structure inspired by 16-bit game surfaces.
Use it in the app
Open a project and find Texture & Pattern → Pixel in the effects picker. Choose the specific tool, then select its layer in Layers to open the Effect Panel. Related modes may share a mode dropdown at the top of that panel. The pages below explain source requirements, first adjustments and conditional controls for each tool.
