Choose a tool

Choose Lens Flare for positioned ghosts and optical artifacts or Anamorphic Flare for highlight-driven streaks. Establish the source and optical centre before adding coating, dirt or veiling.

Anamorphic Flare

Create horizontal cinematic flare streaks from bright highlights or a positioned source.

Use it in the app

Open a project and find Optics → Lens → Flare in the effects picker. Choose the specific tool, then select its layer in Layers to open the Effect Panel. Related modes may share a mode dropdown at the top of that panel. The pages below explain source requirements, first adjustments and conditional controls for each tool.
