Warp
Apply advanced flow, smear, spectral, displacement, heat, and block-based warps to restructure pixels.
Choose a tool
Choose a flow or smear for directional movement, a spectral tool for banded colour tears, Heat Mirage for shimmer, Cells Displacement for partitions, or Texture Displacement for map-driven warping. Set the field scale before the displacement strength.
In this section
Starburst Warp
Explode pixels along radial rays with kaleidoscopic, spiral, and chromatic options.
Spectral Tear
Tear RGB components apart along warped seams for chromatic ripping and signal shearing.
Spectral Smear
Smear colour channels from edges into spectral trails and prismatic motion streaks.
Phoenix Flow
Curl source pixels through a flame-like vector field for turbulent rebirth and flow effects.
Heat Mirage
Apply looping procedural shimmer to mimic rising heat, air distortion, and atmospheric refraction.
Smear / Melt
Melt pixels along a chosen direction or flow profile for dripping and dragging looks.
Flow Field
Displace pixels through a vector field so source detail follows generated currents.
Cells Displacement
Use cellular partitions to push source regions into broken glassy or organic cell offsets.
FORM Displacement
Use a texture map or FORM source to drive displacement strength and direction.
Bloom Warp
Warp bright regions into smeared bloom trails for a still-image datamosh feeling.
Use it in the app
Open a project and find Distortion → Warp in the effects picker. Choose the specific tool, then select its layer in Layers to open the Effect Panel. Related modes may share a mode dropdown at the top of that panel. The pages below explain source requirements, first adjustments and conditional controls for each tool.
