Material
Physical-surface effects for glass, damage, organic growth, liquid fields, and other tactile image treatments.
Choose a tool
Choose Glass for refractive surfaces, Damage for tears and fractures, Organic for growing patterns, or Liquid for flowing membranes. Start with readable geometry before increasing material detail and light.
In this section
Glass
Bend light through prism, liquid, caustic, frosted, scratched, tiled, and reeded glass surfaces.
Damage
Procedurally tear, crack, shatter, scuff, wrap, or fracture the image like a physical material.
Organic
Create organic labyrinths, branching veins, reaction patterns, and cellular masks.
Liquid
Generate liquid cellular veils, membranes, plasma bands, marble-like flows, and source-reactive fields.
Use it in the app
Open a project and find Material in the effects picker. Choose the specific tool, then select its layer in Layers to open the Effect Panel. Related modes may share a mode dropdown at the top of that panel. The pages below explain source requirements, first adjustments and conditional controls for each tool.
