Glass
Bend light through prism, liquid, caustic, frosted, scratched, tiled, and reeded glass surfaces.
Choose a tool
Use Prismatic for facets, Liquid Glass for a bounded wet lens, Caustic for focused light, Frosted for diffusion, Scratched for wear, Glass Tiles for panes, or Reeded Glass for parallel ridges.
In this section
Prismatic Refraction
Split the image through faceted prism planes with RGB dispersion and cut-crystal bends.
Liquid Glass
Create soft wet glass with meniscus edges, refractive bend, chroma, and glossy highlights.
Caustic Glass
Refract the image through animated glass height fields with focused caustic light streaks.
Frosted Glass
Diffuse source detail behind privacy glass with haze, shimmer, and grazing highlights.
Scratched Glass
Add directional micro-scratches, scuff haze, and tiny refractive glints over the image.
Glass Tiles
Break the image into refractive glass tiles with bevel-like offsets and repeated panes.
Reeded Glass
Bend the source through parallel ridges for reeded, fluted, and lenticular glass distortion.
Use it in the app
Open a project and find Material → Glass in the effects picker. Choose the specific tool, then select its layer in Layers to open the Effect Panel. Related modes may share a mode dropdown at the top of that panel. The pages below explain source requirements, first adjustments and conditional controls for each tool.
